One reason this blog exists is to draw attention to the suffering and abuses of God’s special creation — humans — around the world, especially where there has been insufficient media scrutiny or where past evils have been forgotten as if they were erased from history. Two focuses will be on human trafficking (modern day slavery) and genocide.

The other reason is to draw attention to ministry work on behalf of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is unique and effective in ending, correcting, or rehabilitating these horrors. Also, Man in God’s Image will highlight those ministries which seek to introduce the Gospel to unreached or minimally-reached people groups, much of which is explained by the Joshua Project. As you would expect, many of the nations where these people groups live are either closed, or unfriendly, to Christians and the sharing of their faith.

At present I intend to remain anonymous, although many friends will know who I am. The purpose for that is to protect the identities of those being helped, as well as myself should I want to visit and minister in any of these countries like I have in the past. I hope you understand and will come back regularly to stay updated, and I hope to keep the posts regular so as to be effective in raising awareness for those who need prayer and support.

Hallelujah!
